All over the world, many orphans suffer in overwhelming precariousness.
An abandoned child without resources will have less luggage to face life.
Dar AL Khair is in close collaboration with orphanages but also with local businesses in rural areas which sometimes witness the poverty and precariousness of some orphans.
At Dar AL Khair, our volunteers are struggling to bring balance to these children by contributing to a daily meal, medical monitoring, education that can give them a better future…
We are aware that sponsorship will not replace his close relatives but he can, with God’s help, contribute to a better future and make him a future adult ready to face the world of tomorrow.
The verses that support the orphan are very numerous, we can mention a few:
“ Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful” (Qur’an 4/36).
“ Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking account” (Qur’an 4/6).
